Ordovician limestone-calcareous shale interval
The Point Pleasant
Norse seems to have some other formations as well in Cattaraugus.
Ive done some search on the DEC`s well base. I found that since 1/1/2011 there have been spudded or started to drill 132 wells.
- 61 are in the Bradford that includes: Bradford 2nd Bradford 3rd Chipmunk/Bradford
- 8 Chipmunk
- 4 Medina (natgas)
- 60 Upperdevonian with no more info.. there may be other targets? not quite sure on this..
Its also important to NOTE that many of those wells are with the same name but different well numbers and API numbers: like the Young wells drilled by US ENERGY DEVELOPMENT.
